Angus Jackson is the Founder and Director of International Coastal Management (ICM), a globally recognised leader in innovative coastal engineering and management solutions. With over 45 years of experience spanning local government and consulting, Angus has made significant contributions to shaping resilient and sustainable coastal systems both in Australia and internationally.

During his tenure from the early 1980s to the mid-1990s, Angus led the management of the Gold Coast’s extensive beach and waterway systems. His visionary leadership and development of innovative methods positioned the Gold Coast as a global benchmark for coastal and waterway management and climate change adaptation. This work laid the foundation for Angus’s enduring legacy in the field and his deep commitment to balancing environmental sustainability with engineering excellence.
